ACE 21st Century Afterschool Program

21st Century Afterschool Program is a free program that is designed to expand after-school opportunities for Texas youths from Monday - Friday, between 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

The purpose of this program is to establish or expand activities in community learning centers that:

Provide opportunities for academic state and local student academic achievement standards in core academic subjects, such as reading and mathematics, offer students a broad array of additional services, programs, and activities. These activities include art, music, and recreation programs, technology education programs, and character education programs that are designed to reinforce and complement the regular academic program of participating students. 
   

21st Century Guidelines

• Student must be committed to attend Monday – Friday from 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm.

• Student must be committed to attend no less than 30 days.

Please Note that the 21st Century After-School Program is NOT a drop in and out program. Your child must show up and have 80% attendance for this program.

Excessive early pick-ups will result in dismissal from the program. The earliest pick up time is 5:00 p.m. All students must be picked up on time. The latest pick up time is 6:00 p.m. daily. If there is consistent tardiness in being picked up (only 2 warnings will be given), your child will not be invited to return.
